Education Professional with 30+ years’ experience in the secondary school sector, mainly in schools in challenging circumstances in the North-West of England. I have a wealth of experience having ‘seen it all’ along my journey to Headship. Having led my school out of special measures, I left the school sector during the pandemic, and have continued to contribute to the wider mission of education through supporting teachers and leaders within the ‘golden thread’ of professional development. Currently working with Teaching Schools Hubs and Delivery Partners as a Leadership Performance Coach/Mentor and Assessor. Keen to support students in their academic progress, I am Founding CEO of My GCSE Tutor ® registered in August 2021 with the mission to ‘provide engaging, challenging and focused tutoring that supports students, parents and schools to achieve the best outcomes for all.' The company served as a Tuition Partner for the National Tutoring Programme.
